Blind Date with Science: A Research Journey into the Unknown
Curiosity will be the guide on October 6, 2026: At the Blind Date with Science - Ecoversity, participants will leave the campus of TU Braunschweig together and discover a special place that remains hidden in everyday life. The House of Science Braunschweig and Ecoversity invite you to an extraordinary event experience that blends science, expedition, and personal exchange.
Departure into a Scientific Secret
The meeting point is at the House of Science on Pockelsstraße 11. The joint research journey begins at 3:00 PM. The destination will remain secret at first and promises a glimpse behind the scenes of a place that is not easily accessible. This mixture of surprise, movement, and insight shapes the unique event atmosphere.
Experience Knowledge on the Go
During the approximately 40-minute bus ride, guests will be greeted with a thematic short lecture. This means the program does not start only at the destination but immediately takes participants on a mental journey. Professional impulses, illustrative insights, and the shared travel connect event management with vibrant science communication.
Guided Tour, Research, and Exchange
At the secret destination, exciting insights, a guided tour, and current research topics are on the agenda. The event is aimed at people who wish to experience science not just from books or lecture halls, but firsthand. Time for networking creates space for conversations, new perspectives, and personal encounters.
An Unusual Event Concept
The format uniquely combines event planning, target audience engagement, and scientific communication. Instead of a classic lecture evening, an expedition with varying impressions takes place: meeting point, bus ride, short lecture, guided tour, and return journey seamlessly interconnect. The mood among the audience thrives on the shared curiosity and the excitement generated by the unknown destination.
Conclusion: Science Begins with Curiosity
The Blind Date with Science - Ecoversity offers a varied event experience with research impulses, exclusive insights, and personal exchange. Admission is free, but registration is required. Those who want to experience science from a new perspective should join this special research journey live in Braunschweig.
