Hubertus Mass in the Riddagshausen Monastery Church
When hunting, connection to nature, and Christian faith come together, a special faith experience is created. The Hubertus Mass of the Hunters' Association Braunschweig invites you to a festive service in the Riddagshausen Monastery Church on Friday, November 13, 2026.
Festive Service with Hunting Tradition
The Hubertus Mass commemorates Saint Hubert of Liège, who is venerated as the patron saint of hunters. The focus is on respect for creation, responsibility for nature, and the connection of spirituality, prayer, and lived justice in hunting.
Pastor Benedikt Sacha will lead the service. The liturgical celebration will be musically accompanied by the brass band of the Hunters' Associations Braunschweig and Peine-Ost. The sound of the hunting horns adds an impressive, powerful, and contemplative atmosphere to the liturgy.
Spiritual Atmosphere between Forest and Monastery Walls
The Riddagshausen Monastery Church provides a dignified setting for this religious experience. In the tranquility of the church space, traditional church music, communal prayer, and the symbolic closeness to nature come together. Visitors will experience a service that relates Christian faith to the lives of hunters.
Invitation to the Congregation and Interested Parties
The Hubertus Mass is aimed at members of the Hunters' Association, families, nature lovers, and all people who would like to experience a special service in community. Prior knowledge or membership in the Hunters' Association is not required for participation.
The event begins on November 13, 2026, at 6:30 PM. The admission price is not specified in the available event information.
Conclusion
The Hubertus Mass of the Hunters' Association Braunschweig combines Christian liturgy, hunting tradition, and responsible connection to nature. Look forward to a festive evening with Pastor Benedikt Sacha, impressive hunting horn sounds, and a deep spiritual community in the Riddagshausen Monastery Church.
