Sharing Knowledge, Discovering Ideas: 4LAB Opens Its Doors
On October 5, 2026, the 4LAB in the old building of Technische Universität Braunschweig invites you to its open house. From 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM, interested parties can experience an open space for knowledge transfer, exchange, and social innovation. Admission is free, and registration is not required.
An Experience of Discovery Between Research and Everyday Life
The 4LAB sees itself as a space for innovations and participatory collaboration. At the open house, science becomes directly tangible: visitors can present their own ideas, discover new perspectives, and learn how knowledge is shared within and outside the university.
Knowledge Kiosk: Coffee for a Good Idea
Central to the event is the knowledge kiosk with the motto Your Idea Interests Us. Anyone who writes down a question or thought on a card will receive a free coffee in return. This fosters an uncomplicated exchange between students, educators, researchers, practice partners, and interested members of the public.
Interactive Stations with Creative Impulses
The Knowledge Exchange Machine invites you to send a message and take a new knowledge capsule in exchange. At another station, visitors can create a personal postcard, which can be sent directly on site. The Impact Map vividly shows where and how TU Braunschweig has a social impact in the region.
Knowledge Transfer as Cultural Enrichment
The event makes local science and innovation culture accessible. The 4LAB combines analog encounters, creative methods, and interdisciplinary exchange. Those who are curious, like to share knowledge, or are looking for new ideas for studies, careers, and society will find an open atmosphere and inspiring conversation partners here.
Conclusion: An Open Campus for New Thoughts
The open house at 4LAB offers a free discovery experience with coffee, snacks, interactive stations, and exciting insights into the knowledge transfer of TU Braunschweig. Come by, bring an idea, and take new impulses from 4LAB with you.
