DNA Chaos and French Comedy Mood at Milkaus Film Café
On Friday, October 9, 2026, the Milkaus Film Café at the ASTOR Film Theater Braunschweig invites you to an enjoyable cinema afternoon. The program features the French comedy OH LA LA 2 – New Tests, New Chaos – including film, cake, and coffee or tea for €9.40.
When a DNA Test Turns Everything Upside Down
The story revolves around two fathers whose world gets thrown into chaos again due to faulty DNA tests. The French car dealer Gérard loses his supposed German ancestry, while the short-tempered vineyard owner Frédéric loses his French family tree and is confronted with new familial roots.
What follows is a turbulent exchange filled with cultural misunderstandings, surprising twists, and sharp situational comedy. The French comedy aims at societal attributions, family images, and identity issues with cheeky humor.
Christian Clavier Provides Comedic Dynamism
With Christian Clavier, known from the MONSIEUR CLAUDE series, as well as Didier Bourdon and Sylvie Testud, the film brings an experienced ensemble to the screen. Directed by Julien Hervé, the approximately 92-minute performance will be shown in German dubbed version, combining great cinema enjoyment with a relaxed café atmosphere.
