Game Afternoon Weststadt: Play, laugh, and discover new favorite games together
On Monday, October 26, 2026, the Weststadt branch of the Braunschweig City Library will transform into a meeting place for sociable game rounds. From 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, well-known classics, new board games, and personal encounters will be the focus. Admission is free.
Board games in a relaxed library atmosphere
Whether a familiar favorite game or an unknown game tip: Old and new board games will be on the table at the game afternoon. The quiet atmosphere of the library creates the perfect setting for concentrated games, spontaneous conversations, and shared laughter.
An afternoon for adults and spectators
The offer is aimed at adults, especially seniors who enjoy board and party games. Spectators are also warmly welcome. This creates an open event experience where interaction and audience atmosphere count as much as the playful competition.
Organization and event experience
The Weststadt branch of the Braunschweig City Library takes care of the organization and event planning. The format combines cultural participation, leisure activities, and outreach to neighboring target groups. The focus is on a straightforward afternoon that promotes social contacts and provides space for new game ideas.
