Enjoy Together and Rescue Food at the Best-Left-Feast
On Saturday, October 17, 2026, the Glashaus of the AWO in Braunschweig invites you to the Best-Left-Feast. From 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, guests can enjoy a communal buffet of rescued food, meet others, and have a delightful afternoon in the spirit of sustainability.
Vegan Variety from Rescued Food
A volunteer team prepares various vegan dishes. The food used comes from a cooperation with Foodsharing and a partnering supermarket. Thus, diverse meals are created from ingredients that might otherwise end up in the trash.
An Event for Enjoyment, Exchange, and Sustainability
The Best-Left-Feast connects sustainable consumption with lived community. In a relaxed event atmosphere, there is time for conversations, new encounters, and shared meals. Families, friends, neighbors, and all interested parties are welcome.
Conscious Enjoyment and Sharing Leftovers
The buffet follows a simple principle: When a dish is finished, it's finished. According to event information, no one has gone home hungry so far. Guests may take leftover food or rescued rolls with them. It is advisable to bring a container and a bag.
An Sustainable Event Experience in Braunschweig
From the event planning perspective, the Best-Left-Feast focuses on a clear target audience: uncomplicated, open, and communal. The event management combines food rescue, vegan cuisine, and neighborly interaction into a special event experience for all generations.
Conclusion: Eat Together, Act Consciously
