Get Creative with Plant Colors: A Colorful Family Experience in Braunschweig
When children paint together with their parents, not only colorful pictures are created, but also valuable time together and plenty of children's laughter. In the parent-child workshop at the Sustainability Center Braunschweig, families discover the creative side of nature and create using colors from plants, spices, and other natural materials.
Discover Colors from Nature
Instead of ready-made colors, natural materials take center stage. Plants, spices, and other treasures from nature invite experimentation, wonder, and creativity. Children directly experience how different colors, smells, and textures enrich their learning experience.
Child-Friendly Learning Fun with All Senses
The workshop combines creative design with an age-appropriate sensory experience. By mixing, dabbing, and painting, children develop curiosity, imagination, and a sense for colors and shapes. The shared activity strengthens the parent-child relationship and creates space for self-directed work in a safe environment.
Experiencing Sustainability Playfully
The offer makes sustainability tangible for families. Children learn that creative materials can also come from nature and that art can be created without chemical dyes. Thus, an afternoon transforms into a child-friendly family experience with educational value, creativity, and joy in discovery.
Painting Together, Wondering Together
The workshop is led by Leonie Höfner. From 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM, a calm and inspiring atmosphere is created at the Sustainability Center, where parents and children can be creative together. The result is less important than the shared journey: experimenting, laughing, wondering, and making their own ideas visible.
Conclusion: Experience Natural Colors and Shared Time
The parent-child workshop promises a relaxed, creative afternoon full of sensory experiences, learning fun, and family closeness. Those who want to create sustainably with children and experience a special shared time will find a lovingly designed introduction to the world of natural colors here.
