YARA brings the Chewing Gum Cigarettes Tour 26 to Braunschweig

On Friday, October 30, 2026, the Owl/XO in Braunschweig will transform into a club for indie rock, coming-of-age stories, and wonderfully quirky stage moments. YARA invites you to their first own tour: a concert between youthful exuberance, great love, and the bittersweet feeling when small memories suddenly become great songs.

Indie kitsch, Dada, and wild dance moments

YARA tell stories about smoking, coming-of-age adventures, and great love. The Chewing Gum Cigarettes Tour 26 connects these themes with an eccentric mix of German indie rock, pop appeal, and deliberately playful Dada silliness. The result sounds like fruit juice spritzer that is drunk way too quickly: sweet, bubbly, and with a little sting in the throat.

A club night with a personal touch

At the Owl/XO, the intimate club atmosphere meets a stage performance that focuses not on high gloss, but on closeness, movement, and immediate audience mood. Between driving sound, melodic indie kitsch, and pointed lyrics, a concert experience is created that draws its energy directly from the space. Silly dancing is explicitly part of the concept.

The first own tour of YARA

The Chewing Gum Cigarettes Tour 26 will take YARA through 14 cities in Germany and Austria in the fall of 2026. Braunschweig is one of the stops on this special concert journey. At the center are the characters Jakob, Lisa, Gio, and Jacque as well as a hedonistic world where pocket money, crushes, and the desire to look cool merge into musical snapshots.

Live atmosphere at the Owl/XO

The sound lives from direct club energy, clear synchronization between the band and the audience, and a dramaturgy that alternates between singing along, dancing, and attentive listening. Those who enjoy indie rock with humor, emotional stories, and an unpredictable stage performance will experience a concert night with its own color.
