Wucan brings Heavy Flute Rock to KufA Haus
On Friday, October 9, 2026, KufA Haus in Braunschweig will transform into a hotspot for psychedelic rock, krautrock, and progressive sonic adventures. Wucan from Dresden will perform with their distinctive mix of powerful guitars, driving drums, folk elements, and prominent flute playing. Purple Rhino is announced as the support.
Between Krautrock, Hard Rock, and Psychedelic Energy
Wucan combines heavy riffs with extended song structures and a unique Heavy-Flute-Rock aesthetic. The band, led by singer and multi-instrumentalist Francis Tobolsky, works with electric guitar, flute, and theremin, blending classic rock instruments with unusual sound colors. In KufA Haus, this orchestration meets an intimate club atmosphere, where every riff, every drum hit, and every dynamic turn resonates directly with the audience.
The current chapter is called Axioms
The focus of the tour is the album Axioms. Wucan expand their known influences from hard, kraut, and East Rock to include progressive passages, electronic accents, and playful jazz tones. The four-member formation presents itself stylistically broader and combines analog warmth with a distinctly powerful stage performance.
Purple Rhino opens the concert evening
With Purple Rhino, the evening receives a support act before Wucan unleashes their energetic live show. The dramaturgy leads from an introduction in the pre-program to the concentrated sound of the main act. Walls of guitars, shimmering flute lines, and a pulsating drum promise an intense audience atmosphere in the concert hall.
Live Atmosphere at KufA Haus
KufA Haus at Westbahnhof provides the perfect setting for a concert that thrives on closeness and direct communication. Between warm stage lights, powerful sound, and long instrumental tension arcs, a concert experience is created for fans of psychedelic rock, progressive rock, classic rock, and stoner elements.
Conclusion: Wucan and Purple Rhino will bring a diverse rock evening to Braunschweig on October 9, 2026. Those who want to experience Heavy Flute Rock, progressive song structures, and a passionate stage performance live should secure this date at KufA Haus.
