The Drummer Mafia brings Backstreet Noise to Braunschweig

On October 16, 2026, the westand event and cultural center in Braunschweig will transform into a stage for precise drumming art, surprising comedy, and musical chaos with a system. The Drummer Mafia presents its full-length solo program Backstreet Noise and invites the audience to a concert experience where five drummers are simultaneously musicians, entertainers, and accomplices.

Five Drums, a Powerful Ensemble

The Drummer Mafia combines virtuosic percussion with a fast-paced stage show. Five drummers come together, engage in musical duels, and develop their own language from rhythm, synchronization, and body language. Every beat lands, every pause builds tension, and every surprising twist advances the story.

Backstreet Noise: Rogue Charm with Rhythm

At the heart of the show format is a quirky gangster satire: The mafiosi attempt to maintain their laid-back rogue facade, but not everything goes according to plan in the mafia business. Pizza maker disguises, strange ideas, and driving grooves blend into a stage narrative that combines musical precision with situational comedy.

Live Atmosphere Between Concert and Comedy

The audience experiences an unusual mix of concert, rhythm performance, and comedy. The acoustics of the drums, the interplay of dynamics, and the visible physical effort behind each pattern make the stage performance immediate and intense. Complex arrangements arise from short impulses, and the interplay of instruments creates a sound that oscillates between percussion show, cabaret, and musical theater.

Award-Winning Entertainment with Musical Aspiration

The formation has been performing since 2010 and has been awarded the Baden-Württemberg Cabaret Prize among others. The Drummer Mafia thus stands for a combination of craftsmanship expertise, rhythmic energy, and audience-friendly entertainment. Backstreet Noise continues this idea in a large, full-length production.

Conclusion: Rhythm, Wit, and an Evening Full of Surprises

If you want to not only hear drums but also experience them as a physical stage experience, you will find an evening with high tempo, precise conduction, surprising turns, and plenty of humor at The Drummer Mafia.
