Cordoba78 brings thrilling indie pop to Braunschweig
On Thursday, November 5, 2026, Cordoba78 will transform Pauls Boutique in Schön & Frölich into a vibrant club space. The Austrian band combines indie, pop, and rocking energy with a stage performance that oscillates between sweaty club nights, grand gestures, and cathartic euphoria.
Between indie euphoria and stadium feeling
Cordoba78 is one of the exciting newcomers from Austria. Their sound thrives on distinctive guitars, driving drums, warm bass, and a piano that adds extra color to the songs. Carlo Giulio Sossella on vocals, Tobias Fussenegger on guitar, Paul Pichler on piano, Georg Pinter on bass, and Alex Fetz on drums shape a direct, physical live sound.
A band with rapid ascent
What began as a jam session in the rehearsal room quickly developed into a remarkable band history. Cordoba78 played around 60 live shows in the summer of 2026 and supported Ennio, Betterov, and Sportfreunde Stiller. The fall tour takes the band through 16 cities, bringing their high-energy stage performance to Braunschweig.
Live atmosphere with big visuals
The concert experience thrives on contrast: oversized suits, sweaty shirts, guitar solos with retro flair, and a sound that oscillates between the end of a party and the beginning of something grand. In the intimate atmosphere of Pauls Boutique, an immediate audience vibe emerges, where every synchronization between band and audience becomes palpable.
An evening for curious concert fans
The music of Cordoba78 is aimed at those who wish to experience indie pop not as a smooth mold, but as an open playground. Between melodic precision, rocking dynamics, and emotional exaggeration, a stage performance with its own character develops. The band name references the legendary football match Austria vs. Germany at the 1978 World Cup in Córdoba, thus already carrying a piece of Austrian pop culture within it.
Conclusion: Experience Cordoba78 live in Braunschweig
Cordoba78 promises an intense concert evening with driving sound, quirky aesthetics, and a live atmosphere that stays close to the audience. Anyone wishing to experience the emerging Austrian band in a personal club setting should mark November 5, 2026, and secure tickets for Pauls Boutique.
