Sven Bensmann brings SVENOMENAL to Braunschweig

When handmade music meets pointed stand-up comedy, an evening turns into more than just an entry in the calendar: Sven Bensmann presents his solo program SVENOMENAL on October 17, 2026, at the Brunsviga. Starting at 8:00 PM, the musician, comedian, and entertainer transforms the cultural center into a stage for witty stories, musical punchlines, and heartfelt laughter.

Comedy with Guitar, Charm, and Strong Stage Presence

Sven Bensmann combines comedy and music with a lightness that turns even dry everyday observations into small laugh experiences. His stage character moves between an urban village kid, dinosaur fan, and lost Disney princess. This sounds like an unusual mix - and it is precisely from this that the special humor of SVENOMENAL arises.

The punchlines come spoken or sung, the timing remains precise, and audience reactions are a fixed part of the evening. Bensmann's comedy thrives on friendly interaction, musical intuition, and a stage presence that does not rely on volume. Even when the humor skirts along the waistband, it remains charming and does not cross the line.

From NightWash Sidekick to Award-Winning Solo Comedian

Sven Bensmann gained his first comedy experiences at the Quatsch Comedy Club talent factory and later performed on stage at NightWash, the 1Live lecture hall comedy, and various TV formats. As a sidekick and co-moderator of NightWash, he shaped the comedy scene for several years.

His awards - including the Bremen Comedy Prize, the Kleine Hurz, and the Golden August of the Humorzone Dresden - underscore his status as a versatile comedian and musician. In SVENOMENAL, stand-up, cabaret elements, concert moments, and personal stories merge into a unique live format.

An Evening for Fans of Comedy and Music

Those looking for a comedy show with guitar, singing, and unusual leaps of thought will experience a high entertainment factor during the evening at the Brunsviga. There is no polished stage program here, but a lively laugh concert with surprising twists, musical energy, and a comedian who visibly loves his audience.

Conclusion: SVENOMENAL promises a comedic atmosphere, musical punchlines, and a heartfelt live experience in Braunschweig. Sven Bensmann shows how well stand-up and handmade music complement each other. Anyone wanting to experience the evening live should get tickets early.
